These conditions of sales apply to the sale of airline tickets from FlyViking AS by consumers. The conditions of sales‚ along with your confirmed reservation and confirmation of purchase‚ constitutes the contract for your purchase.
The sales conditions and other information at www.FlyViking.no is available in Norwegian and English.
To make a purchase at FlyViking AS‚ you must be at least 18 years of age.

Where the sales conditions require a written confirmation‚ this is fulfilled by the use of letters or email.
The Seller is FlyViking AS‚ Strandveien 10‚ 9060 Lyngseidet. They will in the following text be mentioned as we or us.
The buyer is the person listed as a buyer in the reservation‚ and is in the following text referred to as "you"‚ "your" or "yours"
Your reservation will be recorded on our server. FlyViking AS will deliver the service according to your reservation unless this differs from what is offered by us through our sales offers‚ marketing or otherwise.
Once we receive your reservation‚ we will confirm your order and automatically send a confirmation to the email address you specify in your reservation. In case of changes and in those cases we need to send notifications or messages to you‚ we will ONLY communicate to the email address that you specified in your reservation. Please check your order confirmation carefully when you receive it‚ and make sure that the order confirmation is consistent with your order.
Reservation for children travelling alone
It is possible to purchase tickets for children (5-11 years) travelling alone with FlyViking. This can be done by contacting directly to our customer center.
There will be an extra charge of kr 250 per flight within Norway. This amount is refundable regardless of the ticket class reserved as long as the cancellation of the ticket occurs latest 24 h before departure. There is a limit on the number of children travelling alone on each flight.
Parents /guardians must confirm the child’s and their own ID at check in and when meeting the child at his destination.
Please note the individual rules for changes of the fare category you wish to purchase. Common for all fare types‚ also flexible fares‚ is that airports of departure and destination may not be changed.
Should a schedule change happen you will be notified by e-mail to the address or the cell phone number given during the booking process. If the change is more than two hours from the original itinerary you have the right to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. Smaller changes up to two hours will not be eligible for refund or further voluntary changes by the customer without the normal cancellation and changes charges.
When booking an airline ticket‚ you are allowed to cancel the purchase within 24 hours after the reservation has been made. The 24-hour rule has been determined by ECACs Airline and Airport Voluntary Commitment to Passengers.
Cancellation of tickets within 24 hours from reservation will be refunded 100% until 2 hours before departure.
In case of cancellation within 24 hours from reservation‚ and the ticket is partly used‚ the 24-hour rule will not apply.
Some fare types may have different cancellation conditions which you will be informed about during the booking dialogue with FlyViking AS.
Cancellation of previously changed tickets are not eligible for the refund of change charges.
Website and publications
We aim to give our customers correct information about our products at all times.
We take‚ however‚ no liability for typos or printing errors that may cause that we are unable to deliver according to the information given by us through our sales offers‚ marketing or any other way.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation‚ or parts of it‚ in case the product is sold out or there is no coverage on your credit card. In situations where we are sold out‚ you will be notified about this‚ along with any alte;rnative solutions we may offer.
The total charges will always include all fees‚ government taxes and booking fees. The total price may during the booking process be displayed partly‚ broken down per flight segment‚ without fees or per person when this gives better overview or when it’s not possible to display the total charge.
The total charge will always be clearly displayed in addition to the partial price.
A reservation will not be confirmed until a credit card is charged and the electronic ticket is issued. Tickets can only be paid by credit card. Credit cards will be charged immediately after the reservation is made. If the payment with the credit card is for some reason not successful we may cancel the reservation. You will get information about the cancelling of the transaction by e-mail.
When payed by Visa / Mastercard‚ there will be a charge of a card fee of 2 % (Visa) and 2‚5% (Mastercard) on top of the total price.
You are responsible for checking that the airline ticket(s) you receive is correctly issued according to your reservation. If the airline ticket(s) you receive contains different conditions or travel dates than your reservation‚ you must notify us immediately so that correct ticket(s) can be issued.
If a customer experiences loss reservation or price change due to incorrect use of the software or computer/program problems‚ it will be his own responsibility.
FlyViking AS will not be held accountable in those situations.
If you cancel a trip after the cancellation period has ended or if for any reason you can’t use the ticket‚ you can always ask for tax refunds. This claim should be sent in writing to FlyViking within 1 month after the date of departure.
We recommend that you purchase travel and cancelling insurance through your insurance company.
We process only personal information you disclose to us and that are necessary for us to fulfill our obligations to you.
In cases where we also process personal information for other causes (newsletters‚ campaign information and so on)‚ this will be done only after your consent. Before you agree‚ you will be informed about what your information will be used for and by who.
Your personal information will only be transferred to others when:
- you agree to the transfer
- it is necessary for us to fulfill our agreement with you
- when required by law
On matters concerning personal information connected products and services we offer‚ please contact the company.
The parties will try to solve disputes in good faith. If this is unsuccessful‚ you may bring the case in for the Norwegian Consumer Council‚ and for airline tickets‚ also to the Norwegian Complaints Board for Scheduled Flights ("Reklamasjonsnemnda for Rutefly").
All disputes will be solved using Norwegian courts. If a case is brought to the courts‚ it will be handled in your local court if you have an address in Norway.
You can check in one item of 20 kilos baggage for an extra fee. One piece of hand baggage (max 8kg) are aloud to bring in to the cabin.
